Working Days CalculationFor the purposes of delivery timelines,
working days are calculated starting from the next working day after a shipment
has been processed, provided no issues arise with the shipment.
Parcel Insurance and CompensationAll international shipments
arranged through Ship2Route are automatically insured. Local shipments
are excluded from insurance coverage; however, insurance for local shipments
may be purchased separately at the time of booking on the Ship2Route platform.
For insured shipments: Claims for loss, damage, or shortage must be
submitted in writing to Ship2Route within two (2) working days from the
date of delivery. Claims submitted outside this period shall not be entertained.
Compensation for valid claims shall be processed and paid by the respective
courier partner, in accordance with their insurance policies and terms.
Ship2Route, acting solely as a third-party logistics intermediary, shall not be
held liable for compensation beyond the limits provided by the courier partner.
Compensation shall in no event exceed the declared value of the goods
or the courier partner’s maximum liability limit, whichever is lower.
For uninsured local shipments: All such shipments are transported
entirely at the sender’s risk. Ship2Route shall not be responsible
for any loss, damage, delay, or shortage relating to uninsured local deliveries.
Courier FeesCourier fees are based on the prevailing exchange rate
and are subject to change without prior notice, depending on market conditions.
Cancellation and Refund PolicyShipments may be cancelled at any time
before processing, and a refund shall be issued within 24 hours. A refund charge
of 1.5% + ₦200, capped at ₦2,000, applies. Once a shipment has been processed
(defined as payment confirmed and booking made with the courier partner),
it cannot be cancelled, and no refund will be provided.
Unpaid Shipments and Storage ChargesStorage charges shall apply to any
shipment whose delivery is delayed for more than three (3) working days as a
result of non-payment, insufficient delivery information,
or any other reason attributable to the customer.
Storage charges are as follows:

• Parcels weighing above 10kg – ₦1,000 per day
Ship2Route reserves the right to withhold delivery of any parcel

Parcels left in our office for more than 20 working days after incurring
storage charges will be sold via auction to recover the debt owed to Ship2Route.
Any remaining balance (if applicable) will be refunded to the client.

determined based on the greater of the actual weight or the volumetric weight.
